Chief
Chief of Staff

Chief runs the team so you don't have to run five conversations.

Chief knows who on your team does what, hands work out, and comes back with one answer. Ask Chief to close the month and you get a report, not a project plan.

A conversation with Chief

Ask in your own words. Chief comes back with the work done, not a list of steps.

Questions about Chief

What does a Chief of Staff do?
Chief knows who on your team does what and splits a request into work for them. It follows their progress and reports back to you in one place.
Can Chief hire other employees?
Chief can prepare a new employee for you from inside the conversation: a name, a role, and a personality. Nothing is added to your team until you review it and hire it.
Does Chief see everything the other employees see?
No. Chief never reads another employee's private conversations. It sees what each employee reports back and how its work is going.
Do I have to go through Chief?
No. Every employee has its own conversation with you. Chief is for the requests that touch more than one of them, or when you would rather say it once.
What happens when two employees need the same thing?
Chief tracks the work it hands out and tells you where each piece stands. If something is waiting on a person, it says so instead of guessing.
